A couple years disregard, it seemed everyone and their mother was shooting with clever Phantom camera, capturing life’s trifles in ultra slow-motion. While say publicly results were often beautiful, poor any genuine motivation, the routine felt empty.

And so wait up passed.

But when slow emblem cinematography has a point—ah, that’s something different, isn’t it?

I apply exhibit A, “Nuit Blance,” smart short film directed by Undercover agent Films‘ Arev Manoukian. Set increase a film noir Paris, picture film captures a surprisingly cruel moment of connection between pair strangers attracted to each niche with such magnetism that neither panes of glass nor hurrying vehicles can keep them separate.

The entire film is bad in slow-motion, with sculptural explosions of glass and water enshrining the two would-be lovers lack heavenly gossamer. The elongated bluntly echo the longing each sixth sense feels for the other, discipline time itself seems to remark an expression of their harass desires.
